Dr. Elariny is the first
surgeon to perform Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass for morbid obesity in the Greater Washington, DC Metropolitan, Northern Virginia, and Southern Maryland Areas. Dr. Elariny has an excellent success rate in terms of patient outcome and satisfaction.
Procedures are done
laparoscopically, with the fewest incisions safely possible.

It gives us great pleasure
to announce that our MIS
Advanced Laparoscopic
fellowship program has
matched Dr. Nicholas Tapazoglou from St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore Maryland.
He graduated from medical
school at Northwestern
Feinberg in Chicago, IL and
undergraduate
at Cornell University. He
will complete the program in
from July 2012-June 2013.

Alex Soliman |

Alex
received a Bachelor of
Science in Microbiology from
the University of Washington
State in 1976. In 1980 she
completed a Bachelor of
Science in Nursing from
University of Washington.
Alex is the Case Manager for
USWLS. She coordinates
clinical and insurance
issues and coordinates
patients ready for surgery
with the surgeons'
schedules. She is also a
certified Nutritionist and
provides pre and
post-operative education for
patients. Alex is the go-to
person for most issues
including insurance
requirements, surgical and
hospital fees, financing,
office certifications, and
pretty much everything else.
We have considered changing
the name of the company to "Alexa"
for Alex!

Curtis Williams |

Curtis
joined our team over five
years ago and has helped us
keep it together all these
years. He manages office
flow, appointments, medical
records and reception
services. We are lucky to
